Perfect for anyone who wants to experience the handpan for the first time!
This workshop is about getting to know the handpan in a relaxed manner.
You don't need any previous musical knowledge, not even your own handpan.
No matter if you have had little to do with music so far or are just curious – you have come to the right place :)
Sequence
After the first introduction , we dive into the world of the handpan:
I'll show you how it works, what the different models are like and what you should pay attention to when choosing.
But the focus is also on practice – you learn the basic techniques, discover sounds, beat patterns and play your first melodies :-)
Even if you think you're not musical, the Handpan is the perfect first instrument to explore the world of music for yourself.

It's very intuitive, and even simple melodies can enchant your listeners—and yourself. ;)

In small groups of max. 8 people, you’ll have the chance to learn at your own pace and ask all your questions.

By the end of the workshop, you'll know whether the Handpan is right for you—and you might even decide to rent one afterward to try it out in your daily life.

Perfect for anyone who has already gained some handpan experience and would like to further develop their playing.
This workshop is aimed at those who have already taken a beginner's course or can already play their first melodies and rhythms on the handpan.
Now it’s about developing what you’ve learned and taking it to the next level.
Contents of the advanced course
In the Aufbau Handpan Workshop we deal with the 3 building blocks of music:
rhythm, melody, harmony
We deepen our sense of rhythm, the foundation of everything we play.
We will also go into music theory a little and learn which notes and chords we can play on the
D minor (D Kurd) handpan.
This allows us to play beautifully based on chord sequences - the secret of the famous handpan players :D
This advanced workshop will give you an understanding of how to create beautiful music with your handpan.
We learn in a playful way - also when playing together - to apply the concepts, to play with variety and to let your intuition and improvisation flow into your playing.
In the small group of max. 8 people you will find an inspiring environment in which you can further develop your playing and continue your musical journey.
